MS Hiker's Story

Multiple Sclerosis / Foot Drop

I can hike longer and farther because the lift and support it provides keeps me from fatiguing as quickly.

MS Hiker

This passionate hiker was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, which caused foot drop that made hiking increasingly difficult and dangerous.

After being fitted with a TripleFlex system, hiking became possible again. The TripleFlex helps greatly with foot drop and keeps the toe from catching on rocks and roots, which can lead to a fall.

The device provides lift to the affected leg, which allows more freedom of movement. It also gives increased stability, making the hiker feel more secure on the trail — particularly on rougher terrain.

Since starting TripleFlex, this hiker has trekked to Mount St. Helens Volcanic National Monument, the Cascade Range, and the Eagle Cap Wilderness in the Wallowa Mountains — proving that MS does not have to end an active outdoor lifestyle.
